10 bulb pack

Fritillaria meleagris emerges in spring with delicate checkered bells. Our packs contain a mix of alba (white) and aubergine (purple) flowers. In Great Britain, this fritillaria has naturalized in wet meadows and we hope that our climate will produce the same results - a sea of nodding bells. Naturalizing well in woodland settings with rich soil, fritillaria like light, dappled shade. Known as “snake’s head”, “chess flower”, “frog-cup” and “guinea hen flower” - this delicate variety is perfect for the front of the border. They bloom in April and May. Happily, fritillaria resist deer and rodents, so they should happily last for years in your gardens.

We never have enough fritillarias on hand to meet demand - they are all uniquely beautiful.
