Apricot Parrot is perhaps my favorite of the parrots. A bit taller than Salmon Parrots and just as beautiful. It is over the top gorgeous, filled with color, flirty edges and stunning size. Tulip blooms are edible you know, and I’ve often wondered if a single petal could serve as the vessel to hold a stunning dessert? At least, I think so.

I love to arrange parrot tulips by themselves in a tall cylinder vase so that they can weave and bob to their hearts delight until they finally succumb to gravity and drop those enormous cup shaped petals.
